We point out that battery cells without protective circuit, which are sold to end consumers, in accordance with DIN EN 62133, paragraph 10 i. V. m. DIN EN 61960, point 5.3 should be marked. Battery cells should therefore contain not only the identification of the correct polarity but also designation, capacity, nominal voltage and more.
